Turn the A811 Dumbarton Road into a Trunk Road

Transport links across Stirling are a regular problem- often raised to me by constituents. The quality of the roads is of particular concern; for many years some roads have been in a sorry state.

As well as working with the council to identify distressed roads and potholes, I will continue my campaign to trunk the vital A811. By giving control of this road to BEAR Scotland, more investment and time will be spent on the road.

I also want to see the bridge over the River Teith at Callander delivered as part of the city region deal. Current Scottish Government investment makes provision for planning for such a bridge, but more work is yet to be done to make the Bridge a real project.
