In a Westminster Hall debate I outlined the vast gap between the SNP's rhetoric and their actions.
In 2016 the Scotland Act devolved control over several benefits to the Scottish Government, in line with the Smith Commission. It was understood ScotGov would take control of these by 2020.
However, we now hear the Scottish Government won't take control until 2024, conveniently after the next Scottish Parliamentary Elections. It will cost us £308million to set this up.
In 2014 we were told Scotland could be independent at a cost of £200million and in 500 days. However it's taken the Scottish Government 6 times as long to sort out some areas of benefits alone.
