SNP Double Whammy for Falkirk Residents

Falkirk residents are facing a double whammy of reduced services and increased Council tax from the SNP Falkirk Council administration and the SNP Government in Holyrood.

In their recent budget, the SNP both cut funding for Councils, and allowed Councils to increase Council tax to cover the funding gap. Taxpayers are facing a further squeeze on their wallets.

At Falkirk Council, the SNP have been eroding local services, cutting back on the number of lollipop ladies, and maintaining the least-collected bin service in Scotland. Meanwhile, roads are going unrepaired and community halls are under the threat of closure.

This means you're paying more, and getting less.

Falkirk does have an alternative to SNP mismanagement: The Falkirk Conservatives are campaigning hard across the district and are now the main competitors to the SNP here. Labour have fallen away and are increasingly invisible in Falkirk. Keep an eye out for our campaign in your area, which will be focused on local issues.

We will work hard for your support, and every vote for the Falkirk Conservatives is a vote for a fair deal for the taxpayer.
